A Veteran actor Raghuvaran is No More.

Raghuvaran a Versatile film artiste died of heart attack at a private hospital in Chennai at 6.15 am on March 19. He is 59. Raghuvaran made his debut into films in 1982 through Tamil film industry ‘Ezhavathu Manithan’.Raghuvan reportedly addicted to drugs a few years ago and got rid of the habits with the help of counselling.He is recognized with his different kind of action and his tone is different from all other actor which brings him a unique actor.


He got married to Rohini and had a son called Nanda. However, he got separated with his wife and son due to personal problems. But, he became a habitual drinker. He fell ill a few days ago and was admitted to hospital. Several prominent film personalities conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

He entered into Telugu Industry with the film Mr.Barath which his first film in telugu.But he is recognised until that time when he got a role in shiva with the name Bhavani directed by Ramgopal Varma which brings him the recognisation in the tollywood. After ‘Siva’ he co-starred with many top stars including Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna.



His latest Telugu film is ‘Yevadaithe Nakenti’. Presently he is working for ‘Bank’ with Jackie Shroff and others.He not only played roles in Telugu, but also played in several south Indian language films besides some Bollywood flicks. He also played hero in Tamil, which was later remade in Telugu as ‘Brahma Putrudu’.
