Charmme’s Mantra a Suspense movie



Charmme’s suspense thriller Mantra was launched at a function arranged in Annapura studios on the morning of 27 October. Devi Sri Prasad sounded the clapboard. Dil Raju and Sukumar switched on the camera. Puri Jagan directed the first shot.


Speaking on the occasion actress Charmme said, “I did 23 films so far and this is my 24th film. I am proud to be a commercial actress. Lot of people approached me after Anukokunda Oka Roju film. I listened to more than 25 heroine oriented scripts, but liked none. I love this Mantra script. This film is being done by youngsters with passion and conviction. I am doing a middle class girl in this film. It is a glamour role as well. Mantra is going to be a special film in my career like Anukokunda Oka Roju and Pournami.”

The shooting of 'Mantra' directed by Osho Tulasi Ram and produced by Ch Kalyanram, with Charmme, who proved herself as an artiste who could also perform, besides showing glamour in the lead role, was launched in Annapurna studios amidst several prominent film personalities.

This is well directed suspense film and the screenplay is Excellent.The credit of this film goes to the Directer Osho Tulasi Ram and the actress Charmi and Actor Shivaji, the sound system of this film belief's u the horrer movie its very good suspense movie the sound system is excellent.Mantra (Charmy) is a parentless girl and the owner of her ancestral estate ‘Mantra Nilayam’. She wants to sell that big house at the outskirts of the city.

But whoever comes as tenants in that house will be killed in mysterious way. Hence no buyer comes forward to buy that house. Finally a person comes to buy the house on a condition. The condition is that someone should stay there for 3 months and stay alive. Then Mantra herself thinks of living in that bungalow along with her friend. But her friend notices some evil spirit and gets frightened.

Puri Jagannath, 'Arya' Sukumar, Devisri Prasad, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Dil Raju and others attended the function. Devisri Prasad gave the clap, Sukumar switched on the camera for the muhurat shot picturised on Charmme under the honorary direction of Puri Jagannath. 'Never be amidst trust and belief, sometimes it takes life' is the tagline for this film.

Anand is providing music for this film. Producer Ravi Prakash said, “We are new to the film industry and we came from software background. We would like to thank Charmme for her support.”
